We are a collaborative team of advertising scholars, including faculty and graduate students, committed to advancing research on AI and Advertising.
Our unique strength lies in combining cutting-edge computational innovation with deep human-centered insight to advance responsible and effective AI-driven advertising. Unlike groups that focus solely on technical development or consumer behavior, we bring both perspectives together to explore how intelligent systems influence persuasive communication in ethical, creative, and meaningful ways. We do not just examine what AI can do; we investigate what AI should do to build trust, authenticity, and engagement in the evolving advertising landscape.

Our Story
At the University of Florida, we created the AIM (AIM stands for Advertising, Intelligence, and Meaning) Group to ask bigger questions about artificial intelligence in advertising. Not just what it can do, but what it should do. We are faculty and graduate students working at the intersection of technology and humanity, where data meets design and ethics guide innovation. Together, we explore how AI reshapes strategy, personalization, and connection. Our goal is to help build a future where intelligent systems communicate with honesty, creativity, and purpose.
